 Sierra Sales Summit offers day of learning for salespeople and business owners

Professional Saleswomen of Nevada presents event to help business professionals thrive


RENO, Nev. — Oct. 2, 2017 — Business owners and salespeople who want to improve their sales and marketing skills can attend the Sierra Sales Summit on Nov. 17 for a full-day of learning, training and networking.

“We’ve brought together an incredible line-up of speakers,” said Lorin A'Costa, president of the Professional Saleswomen of Nevada, which produces the event. “Attendees will be able to learn and grow in a variety of areas that can help them improve their sales and business as a whole.”

The event, held at the Atlantis Casino Resort Spa, is the only full day sales marketing training event in northern Nevada. Workshop and session topics include leadership, marketing, social media, positioning, and more. Attendees will receive a full day of learning, breakfast and lunch, networking and sales training and a workbook of resources to take home.

The event is open to the public. Tickets start at $109 for PSN members and $119 for the general public.

Professional Saleswoman of Nevada Announces 5 Finalists for their 30th Annual “Saleswoman of the Year” Award

Reno, NV (April 19, 2017)- Professional Saleswomen of Nevada (PSN) proudly announce the 5 finalists for their 30th annual Saleswomen of the Year (SWOTY) award luncheon to be held on May 9th from 11:30am-1:00pm at the Atlantis Casino Resort.  Nominations were accepted for outstanding women who excel in growing their business in the areas of sales and marketing, excellence in community involvement and who have achieved personal growth. Over 60 nominations were submitted and narrowed down to 5 by a committee of their peers. Nominees include:

These finalists will now compete for the prestigious “Saleswoman of the Year” award and the winner will be chosen by a panel of business experts and announced at the luncheon which will feature a silent auction, raffle prizes, lunch and award ceremony. PSN is also proud to announce that they have chosen The Life Change Center as their benefiting charity for this year’s event.

PSN is a non-profit organization created to attract the finest professional saleswomen in the community, enhance the profession of sales, further self-development, and build a network of success-minded women sharing a common interest.  This year, they are supporting The Life Change Center, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that has been providing recovery services for women from heroin and prescription medication abuse concerns since 1999.

Sponsorship opportunities are still available as well as auction, raffle and in-kind donations still being accepted. Contributions are tax deductible as PSN is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization (Tax ID # 94-2698671). Partial proceeds will benefit The Life Change Center.
