    Life Changes Inc.

The mission of Life Changes, Inc. is to provide safety, shelter and support for men, women and youth affected by substance abuse, mental illness, homelessness and domestic violence. The Executive Director, Lisa Moore, saw a need for safe and sober housing for women seeking hope to change their life and opened the first Life Changes Sober Living Home in 2011. Since that time, the organization has expanded to include six sober living homes serving 72 at-risk individuals.

The dedicated team at Life Changes believes in the unique ability of every client they serve. The staff at Life Changes are dedicated to empowering each client to achieve their life vision. Many times, the clients they serve are simply drifting through life – allowing life to happen to them rather than creating a life that works for them. Through a strong foundation of recovery, a sense of community, useable life skills, support and guidance that nurture growth and development, these men and women can and do become the individuals they were destined to be.

Life Changes, Inc. provides tangible, real-life services to empower their clients. A high priority is to connect each individual with a mentor to assist them in defining the life they dream of. With their mentor, they can define a career path, obtain employment, access the Career Closet Boutique, begin the often-painful process of regaining custody or visitation with their children, and build a strong recovery program.

The highest priority and goal at Life Changes, Inc is the improvement of the community in which we reside. Years of experience have taught the Life Changes team that all it takes is one small change to make a big impact. PSN is currently looking for sponsorships, donations and raffle prizes (gift certificates, baskets,etc.) for its 30th Annual “Saleswoman of the Year fundraising event to be held on May 9, 2017, 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., at the Atlantis Spa & Casino.  Five business women from Northern Nevada will be honored at the luncheon and one will be chosen as Saleswoman of the Year!
