Miranda Hoover was born and raised in Reno, NV and is the oldest of five children. She has worked on numerous political campaigns and while at UNR, was a Senator and Chair for the Academics Committee.
Miranda was the youngest person to ever earn a paid position working for the Senate Majority Office at the Nevada State Legislature during the 78th Session in 2015. Ms. Hoover, while she took a semester off to work full-time at the Legislature, she graduated one year early with her Bachelors in Science, with an emphasis in Public and Behavioral Health in December of 2015.
In 2018, Miranda graduated from UNR with her Master’s Degree in Public Administration specializing in Healthcare Policy and Business. She was the Vice President at Silver State Couriers, while working on her MPA, and has been the Director of Regulatory and Legislative Advocacy at Capitol Partners since August of 2018.
Currently, Miranda represents healthcare and business interests across Nevada and is a business consultant for healthcare providers. Ms. Hoover is actively involved with Nevada’s Wreaths Across America, National Federation of Independent Business, The Reno + Sparks Chamber of Commerce, We the People, the Professional Saleswomen of Nevada and the Western Nevada College (WNC) Foundation Board.
